Teddy “Ted” Dean Stegall, 66, of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away on June 4, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer. Ted was born to Wallace Bryson Stegall and Shirley Mae (Sizemore) Stegall in Greenville, South Carolina.
Visitation for Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tremont Church of God in Greenville, South Carolina with the Memorial Service following at 2:00 p.m.
Ted is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbara (Conklin) Stegall; Son, Teddy Dean Stegall, Jr. (Susan); Daughters, Beth (Stegall) Southwell (Nick) and Amanda Stegall (Justin Mahaffey); Grandchildren Joshua, Emma and Rachel Stegall, Christina and Katie Fifer and Hunter Mahaffey; Mother, Shirley Mae (Sizemore) Stegall; Sisters, Pam (Stegall) Satterfield (Gary) and Debby (Stegall) Gillespie (Jack) and many special family members and friends.
Ted is predeceased by his father, Wallace Bryson Stegall, and a brother, Wallace Bryson Stegall, Jr. “Butch”.
Ted served in the United States Air Force and had been retired for many years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. His sense of humor and wit gained him many friends, and he will be greatly missed. Ted was always ready to offer help to those in need and he loved his family immensely.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
The family is at the home of Jack and Debby Gillespie.
