Judy Hope Triplett

Judy Hope Triplett, age 85, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at Kernersville Medical Center on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 with her children and grandchildren by her side.
Judy was born in Valdese, NC on February 5, 1941. She attended elementary school at the Old Rock School House in Valdese and graduated from Hudson High School where she was a cheerleader and played on the basketball team. After moving to Winston-Salem she worked as a Childcare Provider, Hanes Dye & Finishing and worked for the state as a Drivers Examiner where she retired. After retirement she worked as a security guard at Market Place Mall for a short time.
Above all, Judy treasured being a Mother, Memaw, and Nuna, roles that brought her immeasurable joy and were at the heart of who she was. Her family was a source of great pride, and she leaves behind generations who will carry her memory with them.
Judy was a believer in our Lord and raised her children in the church. She found great joy in tending to her garden, lovingly caring for it and creating a beautiful space that reflects her appreciation for simple beauty in life.
Judy possessed both a deep passion and remarkable talent for painting and she found great joy in sharing her creativity with others through her artwork.
Judy is survived by her daughters Hope Davis and Alison Ivey; her son Russell Triplett and his wife Elsa; her 4 grandchildren: Lindsay Davis, Landon Ivey, Ryan Triplett (Miriam), Joshua Triplett (Laura) ; her 7 great grandchildren, Dorian, Corin, Finn, Margot, Alina, Ella, Archer; her sister Marilyn Drum.
In keeping with her wishes Judy will be cremated and a private service will be held at Parklawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Judy request donations in her honor be sent to Helping Hands 4 Paws, 6081 Rollingreen Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
