Wayne Charles Spalding, 66 resided in Galax Virginia, passed away on November 19th, 2023. Born on September 26, 1957 to Cecelia and Charles Spalding.
Shortly after graduating high school Wayne joined the Navy and worked as a Catapult Electrician, on the USS Forrestal. Wayne ventured into different careers in the fields of electrical, transportation and mechanical.
Wayne enjoyed being around people and was always willing to share a story or help others. He was a lover of animals and a man of strong Christian faith. He enjoyed a good movie as much as his daily walks. His favorite subject to boast about was his children.
Wayne is survived by his (son)Joseph and wife Lisa Spalding, (daughter) Rebecca Phelps and family, two grandchildren, (brother) Steve Spalding, niece and nephew.
Services will be held at Alive Church (Western Branch Campus) 1935 Joliff Rd, Chesapeake Va 23321 on December 4th at 12pm.
