On October 12, 2023, we lost a big piece of our heart and the light of our family, Tiffani Mabe Pepper
was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on a glorious fall morning when her faith became sight. We are
grateful to the Lord for the gift of Tiffani's life and the immense impact she had on our family, friends,
and the world. From the moment she was born on April 11, 1989, she embodied God's image on earth,
radiating beauty, spirit, and a deep love for others. Her favorite verse, Psalm 28:7, perfectly captured
her unwavering trust in the Lord as her strength and shield.
Tiffani's joy and infectious enthusiasm for life were evident from her earliest years. She had a smile for
everyone and a genuine zest for life that inspired those around her.
Growing up alongside her sister Jessica and “sister” cousins Ashley and Stephanie, Tiffani took on the
role as a loving and nurturing figure, caring for them as a mother even though she was one of the
youngest. Their bond was unbreakable, and they shared countless memories, including their annual
beach trips spanning 25 years. Along with the close-knit “brother” cousins Travis and Todd, the six
helped to form a large family rooted in love, resilience, and unwavering support.
Her love and loyalty extended deeply from family to friends and coworkers. Tiffani welcomed every new
member of her family with open arms and the best hugs this side of heaven, always there for those in
need, selflessly offering her time and assistance.
Tiffani’s love story took her on a journey where she met Preston Pepper, the love of her life and became
his wife on May 2, 2015. From the moment they met, they completed each other, and their love was
more than a fairy tale it was God deemed. Preston's unwavering love and support provided Tiffani with
the strength and confidence she had always longed for in a partner. Tiffani’s love for Preston grew
deeper every day making him an even better man but together the world was a brighter place because
of their union.
As a professional, Tiffani pursued her passion for cooking by attending culinary school and for eight
years she was a chef at Samaritan Ministries. She delighted palates with her culinary talent and got to
know the volunteer teams, praying diligently for what was going on in their lives. Tiffani’s
compassionate heart not only led her to serve those in need but also in a new career in patient services
with Adapt Health where her love for her patients and team was evident in everything she did.
While Tiffani did not have biological children, she had the privilege of being an aunt and a godmother to
many lucky children. Her love for her nieces, nephews, and godchild knew no bounds. They
affectionately called her Aunt TiTi, and they knew they were cherished and adored by her. Tiffani's role
in their lives served as a beautiful example of love in action.
Tiffani was preceded in death by: “Papa Jack” Mabe, “Papa Charlie” Swift, and “Grandma Jo” Swift.

Tiffani is survived by her beloved husband, Preston Pepper; her adoring parents, Jeff and Donna Mabe;
sister, Jessica Mabe (Justin White); in-laws: mom Debbie Pepper, brother and sister Eric Pepper, wife
Chelsea; nieces, Zoe Parsons, Taylor Tankersley, Madison Snow, Mae Miller, Ainsleigh Mense, Allison
Snow, Tinsley Tankersley, Harper Ladd, and Isobel Mense; nephews, Austin Robertson, Jacob Johnson,
Zach Parsons, Nolan Mense, Ethan Mabe, Daniel Johnson, Titus Tankersley, Wyatt Miller, and Judson
Ladd; godchild, Makenzie Chadwick; devoted grandmothers, Valena Mabe and Tresa Swift; cherished
uncles, aunts, and cousins, Debbie and Ted Tankersley (Travis, wife Christine and Todd, wife Leslie),
Chuck and Sherrie Mabe (Ashley Snow, husband Chris and Stephanie Mabe), and Michelle Mabe; Terri
Newman (Jennifer Miller, husband Craig), Junior and Kathy Swift (Valerie Johnson, husband Derek, Sarah
Smith (Cody Ladd), and Tracy Mense), Dustin and April Pearson (Hailey, Noah, and Tobias); and the
extended Mabe, Swift, and Pepper families. During this time of mourning and adjustment to life without
our beloved Tiffani, we pray for comfort and mercy upon all those left to carry her light.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Bethany Baptist Church, 600 Old
Hollow Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. Visitation with family will start at 2pm followed by the service at
3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Tiffani’s honor to Samaritan
Ministries, 414 E. Northwest Blvd. Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
Tiffani's tribe was composed of family and friends who were fiercely loved by her. Her radiant light was
too bright for any one of us to bear alone, but together we can honor her spirit by living lives filled with
intentional joy, love, and compassion for others. We will always and forever remain part of Tiffani and
Preston's tribe, eagerly awaiting the day when faith becomes sight, and our hallelujahs never cease.
Sweet girl, we love you deeply, and we thank the Lord for the blessings you brought into our lives.

I will miss her but I find comfort in knowing she’ll be waiting at the Gates of Heaven with her bright beautiful smile. She’ll sing my name ‘Vivvvvvvv’ as she always done and we’ll just laugh.
