Sandra Martin

1962 - 2026

Sandra Martin 63, born on November 17, 1962, passed away on April 24, 2026. She was a woman whose life was defined by love, strength, and selflessness.
Though small in stature, she had an incredibly big heart and was known for always putting others before herself. She worked tirelessly throughout her life, never hesitating to give her time, energy, or support to those she cared about.

Sandra found joy in the simple things; cheering on the Carolina Panthers, feeling the sand beneath her feet at the beach, and spending time with those she loved most.
Her relationship with her boyfriend, Greg, brought her happiness and companionship, and she cherished the life they shared together.

Even in her passing, Sandra’s giving spirit continued. Through the gift of organ donation, she was able to save the lives of others. Leaving behind not only a legacy of love, but a lasting impact of hope.
Above all, Sandra was most proud of her family. If asked, she would say her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world and the legacy she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Richard Thad Boyd and Gladys Sink Boyd.

Sandra is survived by her three daughters: April Noble (Dalton), Rachel Jones (Brandon), and Angel Martin (Eian); her five beloved grandchildren: Cameron, Caspian, Kairi, Calibur, and Nolan; as well as her two sisters Betty Gay Ely, Corinne Snow and three brothers Ricky Boyd, Randy Boyd and Thad Boyd.
She is also survived by special cousins who were more like siblings, Susan Woody, Rex Woody, Wesley Woody, and Judy Ingram.

Sandra’s love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at a later time.
