Rodney Nelson, 60, went to be with our Lord on Friday, June 27, 2025.
He was born in Forsyth County on April 14, 1965, to the late Wilbur and Ruby Nelson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Todd, Becky, Jody and Keith; sister-in-law, Nancy and nephew, Brandon. Rodney is survived by 2 brothers, Gary (Annette) and Chris(Rhonda), sister-in-law, Jan; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and former wife, Paula.
Rodney had little possessions on this earth but after accepting Christ as his Savior, he now has everything the Lord promises. A private graveside service for immediate family will be conducted at a later date by Pastor Kevin Broyhill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, King, NC.
