Rebecca Juliana “Julie” Lowder Miller, 63, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. Born August 30, 1963, Julie lived a life filled with love, family, and simple joys.
Julie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband, Clayton Miller; her sons, Zach Miller and his wife, Destiny, and Clay Miller and his wife, Kat; her grandchildren, Lillian and Cameron; her mother, Ramelle Lowder; and her sister, Linda Streble. She was preceded in death by her father, James Clifford Lowder, and her brother, Garey Lowder.
Julie cherished time with her family and took great joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow. She was a loving and steady presence in their lives, creating a home filled with warmth, care, and treasured memories.
Julie also took great pride in her work at Shelco LLC, where she dedicated more than 10 years of her life. She was loyal and dedicated in all that she did and formed wonderful relationships with her coworkers, whom she considered her work family. She valued those friendships and the connections she made throughout her years there.
Julie found happiness in the simple things in life, especially in her gardens. She loved growing vegetables, canning and preserving, and tending to her flowers. Her gardens reflected the care, patience, and love she brought to everything she did.
Julie will be remembered for the love, kindness, loyalty, and dedication she gave so freely to the people around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her family, friendships that meant so much to her, and countless treasured memories. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Community Fellowship Moravian Church, 181 Welcome Arcadia Rd, Lexington, NC 27295, followed by a reception.
