Percell Lee Andres Simmons
1947 - 2023
Percell Andres Simmons (Butch) was born on September 24, 1947 to Willie Mae
Simmons who was married to Jessie Pierce. Butch graduated from Paisley Senior
High School on May 29, 1963. He served in the United States Air Force during
1965-1971 and received many service medals and awards. He worked with the
Department of Veteran Affairs in Atlanta, Georgia as a Veterans Services
Representative for many years.
He departed this life on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 76, from a longtime
illness. He will be missed by a host of family, friends, medical staff and friends he
made while residing at Forsyth Court Independent Retirement Center on 2945
Reynolds Road in Winston Salem, NC.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11a.m. at the
gazebo of the Salisbury National Cemetary Annex at 501 Statesville Blvd,
Salisbury, NC 28144.
