Paul R. Oldland

1941 - 2024

Paul R. Oldland, 82, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 3,
2024 at his home.
Born March 6, 1941 in Uniontown, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Howard Oldland, Jr,
and Emily Katharine Holland Oldland.
Mr. Oldland was educated in the Uniontown schools and graduated from Uniontown High
School, Class of 1959. He was a veteran of the Mighty Eighth of the U.S. Air Force.
He was an Industrial Engineer in the garment industry, and worked 31 years for the Bali
Company before retiring. Following his retirement from Bali Company, he served as Parish
Administrator for the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany for 11 years.
Mr. Oldland was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, was a former Treasurer,
and a former member of the choir.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Bradley Oldland on
November 19, 2015.
Those left to cherish are his wife of 61 years, Martha N. Oldland; son, Brian K. Oldland and wife
Lisa of Walnut Cove; brother, Rev. Charles Howard Oldland, III and wife, Sanya of Millersburg,
PA; sister; Marilyn Stone and husband Douglas of Uniontown,PA; daugher-in-law, Karen E.
Oldland of Georgetown,DE; grandchildren, Matthew Oldland, Kelsey Oldland, Haley Oldland
and partner Eugene Ericksen and Connor Oldland and fiancé Michelle Tuttle; step-grandchild;
Brittney Priddy and husband Chris; great-grandchild, Ivey Rose Ericksen; step-great-
grandchildren, Emma and Chloe Priddy.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Lutheran
Church of the Epiphany with Pastor Russell Peek, officiating. A private inurnment service will
be held at a later date.
A reception of family and friends will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials in Paul’s memory be made to the Capital
Campaign at the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, 5220 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem,
NC. 27106.
