Michael Chad Shipley

1978 - 2023

Michael Chad Shipley, 45, was born on March 18, 1978 and went
home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
He left very peacefully early that morning in his sleep.
Michael will be remembered for many things; he could create,
fix and do just about anything that he set his mind to. His job as
a tower climber fulfilled his search for thrill and adventure.
He was a gifted and masterful artist and wrote beautiful poetry.
He always said the one thing he did best was make people laugh –
and he was right about that. He always had some funny story
or corny joke to tell that would make you laugh till your jaws hurt!
That bright and beautiful smile of his will surely be missed.
Michael never met a stranger in his whole life and loved to spend
time with his family and friends. He found joy in hunting for old
antiques or searching for rare coins. Anytime you saw him he was
gonna give you something – even if it was just a penny. He loved
nature and animals of all kinds. He loved to cook and serve you
breakfast in the mornings. He liked Sunday afternoon football,
especially his Raiders Team! Michael absolutely cherished music
and even sang in the choir while at Prodigals Community.
Michael loved many people and enjoyed many things while here …
but I imagine it’s nothing compared to where he is now!
Michael is preceded in death by his Father – David A. Shipley,
His – Brother Joel M. Pack, and his Uncle – David C. Teague.
Left to cherish his memory are: His Mother, Vickie Masters;
his beloved Daughter, Annastasia Bohannan-Shipley;
Sister, Misty Pack; Brother, James Pack Jr; Half-Sisters,
Miranda Atkins and Maggie Shipley, Grandmother Brenda Teague;
and many Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

    Michael will be sadly missed. We loved his jokes, stories and his kindness. He was a very smart and giving person. His artwork was so beautiful to say the least. I’m thankful he accepted Jesus as his savior and one day we will see him for an eternity. We love you Michael and will miss you.
