Linda Ann Wentlent
1947 - 2026
Linda Ann Wentlent passed away on April 27, 2026, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Born December 22, 1947, in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ann Wentlent. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anne “Annie” Wentlent; her twin brother, Alfred “Butch” Wentlent (Eileen); and her brother, Col. Mark Wentlent (Jane).
She is survived by her brothers, Blane Wentlent and Christopher Wentlent (Mary), as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends were a very important part of Linda’s life. Her passions included art and cooking, and her spaghetti sauce was her specialty. She had a long, dedicated career in hospitality as a manager for IHOP. Although Linda lived in many places, her heart was always with her hometown of Buffalo (Go Bills!).
Linda was one of the reasons I became an artist. She always encouraged creativity and gave honest, constructive criticism that helped shape me both as an artist and as a person. I truly appreciated her honesty, her sharp sense of humor, and our conversations over the years. She will be deeply missed.
Linda meant a lot to me when I worked for her at Perkins and IHOP. Prayers for her family. I know she will be missed.
