James Michael Moses

1954 - 2023

James Michael Moses, 69, passed peacefully from us on November 5, 2023, in High Point, North Carolina, of late stage pancreatic cancer. His last days were filled with family and comfort, including a blue grass serenade from three of his former Wisconsin blue grass American Folk band. Jim was a man of many hobbies. He thoroughly enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing the banjo, music, hunting, fishing, holidays with his family, rendezvous weekends, painting, cooking shows, Green Bay Packers, the Otto’s Hideaway Bar, college days and friends, visiting his daughter Amy and her family in Austin, and nature both in Wisconsin and North Carolina. Along with the hobbies, he enjoyed the people who were part of the activities that he participated in. Jim was able to enjoy the house that was built in Kernersville, North Carolina, and the proximity to his daughter Mallory’s family. He did all the landscaping for the new house. Jim is survived by his wife Debbie, daughter Mallory Mast, husband Stephen Mast, and her children Emerson, Elliott, and Landon, his daughter Amy Moses, her husband Max Homsi, and their daughter Valentina. We will all miss him dearly. We love you Jim. Rest in peace.

We’ll meet again on some bright highway,
with songs to sing, snd tales to tell.
I am just a pilgrim on this road, boys,
Until I see you, fare thee well.

Friend, band mate, and fellow traveler—we should all be so lucky as to have a man like Jim Moses walk through our lives, I know that my life was the better for it. A kinder, gentler, more gracious man I never met. Sleep well, my friend. You earned it.
