Dennis Rudolph Stroupe, 68, of Belews Creek, NC, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
Dennis was born August 3, 1955 in Galax, VA. He served his country in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1973. He spent his career as a pipefitter until his health declined.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Rudolph Stroupe and sister, Deborah Kay Carter.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathy Stroupe; daughters, Angela Stroupe, of Winston-Salem, and Crystal (Josh) Johnson, of Kernersville; grandchildren, Kimberly Campbell “Ms. Campbell” and Krischan Stroupe “Little Man”, of Winston-Salem, whom he loved dearly. Also survived by his mother, Mildred Elizabeth Stroupe, of Kernersville; brother, Travis Wayne Stroupe and sister, Patricia Dawn Pearman, both of Belews Creek, NC. He had several nieces and nephews that loved “D” dearly.
Dennis was the life of the party, always making jokes and loved to make people laugh. He will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Daddy I love you and miss you so much and I’m so thankful for how much you loved my children! They will never forget their Paw Paw! Also you want like it but I told Krischan he could get a tattoo and it has to say Littleman which is what you called him he said I will and it will be in his writing on a card he gave me! We love you!
