Claudette Scarborough Gethers-Boyd,80, entered eternal peace on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born on April 8, 1943, the daughter of the late Jesse and Margie Scarborough. She is a graduate of Winston Salem State Teachers College. She is a retiree of Amp Inc. Claudette was a dedicated member of Goler Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church and a devoted missionary.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her affectionate children, Frederick and Tamela Gethers, of Winston-Salem, NC, and a devoted and beloved granddaughter who loved her to the moon and back, Wynter Guess of Boston, MA; a loving brother, Michael Scarborough, of Charlotte, NC; adoring loving nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 2 pm 2124 New Walkertown, Rd. W-S, NC. Her nephew Ronald Oldham is officiating.
I miss you and I Love you so much. To the moon and back and more than the number of grains of sand on the beach. I know you are smiling happy and saying don’t cry for me.
