Christine Elizabeth Schelb

Christine Elizabeth Schelb, born in Boca Raton, Florida on July 17, 1983, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She lost her parents Michael Schelb and Holly Greenman in early adulthood.  It’s only fitting that she was born in the “sunshine state,” she loved the ocean and the sun, and because she was a ray of sunshine to all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Growing up she loved dance, gymnastics, and nature. She was always blonde and sun kissed, spending a lot of her time with her aunts and cousins, who became like sisters over the years. However, it was her mom, Holly, that was her hero. They were very close and she gave her a love for people and the confidence to face hard things with incredible grace. Chrissy, as she was lovingly called, lived life as a wondrous adventurer, and left a lil’ magic everywhere she roamed. She was a fierce athlete, as a competitive gymnast, a runner, dead lifter, and cross-fit; which became her career as a coach and personal trainer. Chrissy was also an incredible artist; her painting, photography, and writings show the beauty and depth she saw in the world.  In her early 30s she moved to Hong Kong to coach at a local CrossFit Gym, her time there ignited a passion for travel. She lived in Thailand, where she spent many days on Rawai Beach in Phuket, continuing her passion for coaching and helping others through nutrition and various natural “healing” practices. In Chiang Mai, she studied various plant medicines and became a Certified Kambo Practitioner. Thailand became one of her most favorite places in the world. During her adventures, she also became a meditation teacher and further developed and awakened her intuitive abilities to help others through energy and light work. She studied with Shamans, while living in the jungles of Peru and Thailand, lived in the lowlands of Australia, and even took a mission trip to India. Chrissy continued to share the powerful, healing uses of various plant medicines, including cacao, and hapé, throughout her lifetime. Chrissy led many ceremonies and held space for others through their own unique discoveries, guiding them to remember the power we each hold. Nature, spirituality, plant offerings, wholistic healing, nutrition, and meditation would become her medicine. A medicine she freely shared with all willing to lend an ear, a medicine she’d remind you is within each of us. Chrissy shared her heart and her love with abandon, and wanted everyone to remember the power we hold, the love, the wisdom and the magic, and if you forgot, she was there to remind you. Even through her own health struggles, she was a ray of sunshine. Chrissy’s love, kindness, insatiable laughter, resilience, empathy, softness and strength, touched the lives of all that knew her, near and far, across the globe, in other realms and dimensions, (which she often travelled to) it’s where she discovered her spiritual name, Sa’tari Eleon, light languages, ancient codes, powerful prayers, and meditations…she wanted us all to know, to remember who we are, beyond what is seen and she believed all we seek is within… Chrissy would remind us our most powerful medicine is love, the remembrance that, “we are the temple, the flame, the echo of the eternal, the radiant presence coursing through the now—a living stream of love, waiting to be remembered, embodied, and shared” (C. Schelb), the one heart, that connects us all, and her Rx to discover it would go a lil’ something like this, “meditate, get outside, laugh, sit in the sun, feel it’s warmth on your skin, go barefoot, hug a tree, and hug each other.”

Chrissy is survived by her brother, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, and her soul tribe that spans the globe and galaxies with many soul sisters and brothers. She is always with us, in our hearts, in our stories, in our laughter and remembrance.

A Celebration of Life to honor Chrissy’s beautiful spirit will be held Sunday, July 12th, 2026 at 11:30am, at Miller Park, (Shelter # 1, off Bellview St.) Winston Salem, NC. Chrissy wanted us to really celebrate, so in true Chrissy fashion, it’s potluck style! There will be a meditation, sharing of hugs, music, stories, good friends, and good food! Please bring your favorite dish to share, and some funny stories too! Thank you all for loving her, she loves each of you, and is still sending you her Rainbow Brite sunshine from the source, which she has now returned to.
