On March 24,2024 Cathy went home to be with the Lord. She was born in Forsyth Co. NC to Raeford and Frances Myers on Febuary 7, 1950. On February 14, 1987 she married the love of her life Kelly Reavis JR celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary this year. Cathy spent 30 years as a house cleaner and homemaker until her retirement and then as a homemaker. She had a special calling for the homeless knitting hundreds of toboggans for the Rescue Mission. She also made many small hats for the babies at Brenner Children’s Hospital. She blessed many people with her sourdough bread which she made every two weeks. As an avid bird watcher and feeder she recorded numerous sightings of rare birds in her bird journal. Her most special bird was the wild turkey that adopted her and our home as his own.

Cathy was predeceased by her parents and sister Connie Myers. She is survived by her husband and two brothers Kerry Myers of Clemmons and Kelly Myers of Old Fort NC, a sister-in-law Rene Cottingham of Clemmons NC, a brother-in-law Jeff Reavis of Greensboro NC, nieces Sarah Aquino(Louis) of Ashboro NC, Katie Mulenkamp (Cameron) of Winston-Salem NC and grand niece Emma Aquino also of Ashboro NC and two adopted sisters Karen Cox and Terry Myers.

I would like to say a special thank you to the people at the Food Lion at River Ridge that were her second family. Many folks speak negatively about nurses and doctors, I could not expect better care and compassion than the people at Novant hospital in Clemmons, the main off of Silas Creek Pkwy, the rehab hospital off of Stratford Road and Trellis Palliative Care gave us.
