Bobby Wayne Coleman, 91, of Greensboro passed away April 12, 2025 under hospice care.
Bobby was born March 28, 1934 in Wilson, NC to the late Thomas McClendon Coleman and Virginia Mae Haynes Coleman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Janice Ellis Coleman.
Bobby was an avid golfer and loyal Atlanta Braves fan. He had a long career in textiles at the Corporate Office of Burlington Industries and retired from there.
Bobby is survived by his loyal and compassionate son and caregiver, Jimmy Coleman. He is also survived by many close friends, neighbors and loved ones.
In honor of Bobby, a visitation will be held at Bites and Pints Pub, 2503 Spring Garden St., Greensboro, NC on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Remembering a colleague and friend for his charming smile, great wit and warm personality. Bobby was such a big light for us always
smiling and offering his wisdom in the office and on the golf course. There were so many good times sharing success and just grateful we had such good friends to work with. We will greatly miss the Silver Fox!!
