Anthony "Kent" Motsinger
1958 - 2022
Dec 16, 1958 – July 23, 2022
Kent went home to be with the Lord at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home at the age of 63 years. He was
predeceased by his parents Wilson B. Motsinger and Francis Bodenhamer Motsinger Highfill of Winston
Salem. Survived by his brothers Larry (Wanda) Motsinger of Tennessee and Don (Inja) Motsinger of
Florida; three nephews, one niece, grandnephews and grandnieces; special cousin Rena Spainhour of
Winston Salem, close friend Danny Hemrick of Winston Salem, and special furbaby, Ellie.
Kent was a commercial and industrial painter for 30 years, retiring in March 2021. He loved the Lord and
especially enjoyed Bible Study.
No formal arrangements have been made at this time. Memorial donations may made in his name to
Derrick Davis Cancer Center, Century Park Baptist Church, or Forsyth Humane Society. Thank you to all
the nurses and staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and Trellis.
To my cousin, was always shy at times. He brought himself up with pride. He jumped on there for many years. Ms. Frances kept him on this toes. I pray for you, and I know you are with the Lord. You always kept to yourself at times. I just wished everyone listened. You did not give us a .chance. God bless you and rest well. In GODS name. We love you.
To a wonderful friend and coworker. We had our share of good times and bad times through 32 years of working together . You was always there to listen and always there for me. Millions of great memories . There will never be another Kent . I know you are smiling down on us and I am so happy the pain and suffering has came to an end. I know you’re in a better place now.
