Angela Lynch Spangler Clinard

1967 - 2026

Angela Lynch Spangler Clinard, 58, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away on July 12, 2026.
Born on November 24, 1967, Angela was the daughter of Loleta Lynch Henley and Tillard Worth Lynch. She lived in Winston-Salem for many years and dedicated more than 20 years of service as a Habilitation Technician with Horizons Residential Care, providing care and support to children with special needs.
Angela was preceded in death by her father, Tillard Worth Lynch (1975); her stepfather, William (“Bill”) Henley (2014); and both sets of grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, William Russell (“Rusty”) Clinard, of Winston-Salem; her twin daughters, Sylvia Cox of Fernandina Beach, Florida, and Cecilia Lemons, also of Fernandina Beach, Florida; her grandsons, Ean Cox and Elie Cox; her mother, Loleta Lynch Henley of Mocksville, North Carolina; her brother, Ross Lynch, his wife, Myrna Vance Lynch (whom Angela considered both a sister and a dear friend), and their children, Ryder Lynch and Savanna Lynch; and her sister, Melissa Lynch Funes, her husband, Alfredo Funes, and their son, Jaksen Funes, all of Winston-Salem.
Known to family and friends as Angie or Ann, Angela had a lifelong love for dogs. Her Yorkie, Kandi, was a constant companion who brought her great comfort and joy, and the bond they shared was a special part of her life.
Angela’s memory will remain with her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
