1965 - 2025
Alan Kossek, age 59 of Tobaccoville, NC, peacefully passed away surrounded with his family by his side on January 31, 2025, after a brief illness from pancreatic cancer.
Alan was born August 30, 1965, to Joseph and Rita Kossek in Wilmington, DE and was predeceased by his mother Rita and maternal and paternal grandparents. Alan graduated from East Forsyth High School in 1983 and was employed at Hodge Company, Kernersville.
Alan is survived by his loving wife Helen (Vickie) of 22 years, father Joseph (Elaine) Kossek of Townsend DE, Uncle Jimmy Kossek, Wilmington, DE and brother Joey
(Amy) Kossek, Children- Megan Singletary Thompson, Justin Hauser, Tobaccoville and Jerry Hotchkiss of Belews Creek, 12-grandchildren and Niece- Carmen DeJesus,
Nephews- Joshua Kossek, Cody Hauser, Drake Carter and Trajen Carter. Mother-in-law Bobbie Hauser, sisters-in-law- Norma (Brian) Badgett and Bobbie Jean Carter.
Alan was a member of Benevolent Brotherhood Motorcycle Club and was passionate about riding his Harley and participating in poker runs for charities. Alan also loved playing golf and video games.
May your final ride be easy and the road stretch far and wide. May each bend feel like a gentle curve, till the horizon meets the end. Ride those streets of gold you’re free of pain and your body is healed. We will meet you in heaven!

Alan loved his canine companions Tucker & Harlee. Harlee was just adopted by Friends of Stokes after his fur baby Skyler passed away in November and has brought
much joy to their life.
A celebration of life will be held later. Visitors are welcome to come to the home to visit with the family on Sunday.
