Adekunle A. Adeyemi

1976 - 2024

AdeKunle A. Adeyemi was called home on October 24, 2024 surrounded by love. Adekunle is affectionately known by “Laye” to many who had the pleasure of knowing his kind and gentle spirit.

Born on February 3, 1976 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin he was preceded in death by his mother Katharine E. Adeyemi and his father Festus A. Adeyemi, also by his maternal grandparents and many other loved ones over the years. Laye is survived by his wife Kimberlee of 22 years, two daughters Adaja and MiKaila and one son Zy-Ade.

Laye had a passion for music that was a gift from God. His soul was freeing, and his smile lit up a room. Laye’s family and friends will miss him dearly. Forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will follow in the spring when Laye’s family has time to process their grief.

    He was truly my brother and a wonderful man to say the least. He could joke with the best of us and be so sincere with a heart of gold. Kim and Kay could cook like nobody’s business and I’ll truly miss the part of us that can’t be replaced . Until we meet again . Love you my brother .
