Kathy Paul Clark
1951 - 2025
Kathy Christine Paul Clark, 74, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.
A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, she was born on September 12, 1951, to the late Carl Denver Paul and the late Bonnie Marie Williams Paul.
Kathy was a proud mother and an even prouder Nana. She had a big smile, a bigger heart, and a love for every child and animal she met. She never met a stranger and was known as a hardworking woman throughout her life. Kathy worked for Food City, Walmart, and Bill’s Market and Deli over the years. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Alydia Grace Clark; siblings, Carl Denver “Denny” Paul Jr., Evelyn Mae Paul Graves, Ellen Marie “Marie” Paul Price, James Franklin “Boker” Paul, Stephen Patrick “Reno” Paul, Donald Ray Paul, and Denisa Faye “Fuzz” Paul Gambrell.
Kathy is survived by her loving children, William “Trei” Clark, III (Crystal) and Evelyn Denise Clark Fell (Johnny); her beautiful granddaughters, Heather Clark Bray (Brandon Bray), Hailey Clark (Austin Idles), and Hannah Clark (Austin Green); her beloved great-grandchildren, Addy Bray, JT Bray, and Winslee Idles; brothers, Larry Eugene Paul (Shirley), and Harold Douglas “Doug” Paul (Joy); her sister-in-law, Doris Paul; many nieces and nephews, all whom she loved dearly; and her treasured grandpuppies, Rachel and Emma.
A memorial service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at First Freedom Baptist Church, 7732 Morris Road, Knoxville, TN 37938, with James Webber officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service at the church from 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM.
