Joseph Deason
1937 - 2025
Joseph Deason passed away July 06, 2025, at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born July 17, 1937, in Mecklenburg County to Henry and Annie Deason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Maryann, sister Marylou Melvin, and two brothers, Sonny and HB Deason.
Survived by his sister Juanita Chaney and his three children; Michael Deason, Mary Jordan and husband Mickey, and Maryetta Deason and wife Becky Pardue. He is survived by six grandchildren: Jessica Garza, Chasity Alexander, Miranda Bowman, Dana Andrada, Devon Talley, and Shawn Hargrave. With eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He found joy in his later years being visited by his family and sharing milkshakes. His legacy is etched in the lives of his loved ones. He will be remembered for the lasting impact he made on everyone around him.
A celebration of life service will be from 3:00 to 5:00pm Saturday July 12, 2025 at Fairview Baptist Church, 349 Sullivan Rd. Statesville, NC.
