Harold Lane
1946 - 2025
Harold Lane, 78, of Dobson, NC went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 31st, 2025.
Harold was born October 31st, 1946 in McDowell County, WV to the late John “Perry” Lane and Lillian Beatrice (Wright) Lane. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his daughter, Libby, and his sister, Carol Tabor.
Harold was survived by his loving and devoted wife, Bonnie Sue (Bailey) Lane. Two daughters and son in laws; Lillian and Mike Rose (WV) and Michelle and Mark Scott (NC), as well as one son and daughter in law, Adam and Rebecca King (NC). Harold was “Poppy” to eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also, two special nieces, Shawna Blankenship and Cindy Hunnell and a special nephew Jason Tabor.
In addition to his family, Harold Lane loved his church family dearly at Dobson Church of God where he was a dedicated member for many years.
No services will be held.
