Adekunle A. Adeyemi
1976 - 2024
AdeKunle A. Adeyemi was called home on October 24, 2024 surrounded by love. Adekunle is affectionately known by “Laye” to many who had the pleasure of knowing his kind and gentle spirit.
Born on February 3, 1976 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin he was preceded in death by his mother Katharine E. Adeyemi and his father Festus A. Adeyemi, also by his maternal grandparents and many other loved ones over the years. Laye is survived by his wife Kimberlee of 22 years, two daughters Adaja and MiKaila and one son Zy-Ade.
Laye had a passion for music that was a gift from God. His soul was freeing, and his smile lit up a room. Laye’s family and friends will miss him dearly. Forever in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will follow in the spring when Laye’s family has time to process their grief.
He loved his family and had such a heart of gold. He had such a profound presence. This world was a better place with Laye in it, he will be truly missed by all that knew him.
He will be missed and thought about every single day. He loved his family & cared about every soul he interacted with, truly the epitome of kind & gracious. Thank you for your time with us uncle Laye.
laye spoke so softly but his smile was everything. He was a wonderful son in law and we loved him very much. Till we meet again you are always in our hearts
I never had the pleasure of meeting Laye in person, but I heard a lot about him from Kimberlee. He will truly be missed by his loving family and friends. Wishing all of you comfort and peace during this difficult time.
We are so sad to hear about this loss. The world was a better place with him in it. We will be praying for his family and friends.

Thinking of you all Kim, I am so sorry. Kingsley and I send you and the kiddos the warmest hugs. ❤️
He was truly my brother and a wonderful man to say the least. He could joke with the best of us and be so sincere with a heart of gold. Kim and Kay could cook like nobody’s business and I’ll truly miss the part of us that can’t be replaced . Until we meet again . Love you my brother .
