Mercy Ileana Solis Ruano
1991 - 2024
Mercy Ileana Solis Ruano, fondly known as Mercita, returned to her heavenly home on March 4th, 2024.
Mercy’s life was a reflection of God’s joy, unwavering love and of his infinite mercy.
Despite facing daunting medical challenges and defying grim prognoses, she was sustained supernaturally by the Giver of Life. Her spirit always remained unyielding and the miracles of God in her life surpassed all expectations.
Graduating from high school, conquering the majestic Niagara Falls, and successfully greeting the new year at the center of Times Square, NYC were just a few of her remarkable achievements.
Mercy found joy in life’s simple pleasures, from indulging in fruit punch or milkshakes by the hot tub to savoring exquisite french fries at her favorite restaurants. Sitting at the table with her family was one of her greatest delights. Movie nights with fresh popcorn were also a cherished tradition. Above all, her soul found its truest fulfillment in singing, clapping, and dancing Praise and Worship. Many testified how Mercy’s exuberant and genuine praise stirred their hearts into deeper worship.
Mercita’s smile, sweet hugs, and kisses left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Her supernatural life served as a beacon of hope, inspiration and proof of God’s love and power.
Sweet and precious Mercy leaves a legacy of unconditional love, faith, and resilience that will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
It’s hard to say goodbye. Instead, we say, “We will see you again soon.”
Mercy is now embraced by her heavenly Father, crowned victoriously by Jesus and surrounded by a choir of angels.
A celebration service for the wonderful life of Mercy Solis will be held Saturday, March 9th at Agape Faith Church, 2101 Lewisville Clemmons Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012. The family visitation will take place at 2pm with a worship service at 3pm.
