Pamela Althea Clark
1960 - 2023
Our beloved mother Pamela Althea Clark left this earth after a brief, but difficult battle with cancer. A fighter until the end, she passed away in Winston-Salem, NC on October 31st, 2023 at the age of 63 after a well lived life.
Pam is survived by many, many loving family and friends including her three daughters Tiffany, Latasha and Ashley; her mother Martha; her father Toi; her siblings Mark, Tracey and Curtis; and beloved sons-in-law Maurice and Keith. Pam is a veteran of the US Army and worked as a Nurse at the Kernersvillle VA. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and spending time at home with her two dogs Sasha and Bianca. Pam was always the brightest smile in the room; she will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Pam requested a cremation and that we scatter her ashes in her favorite spot, the ocean. We will be holding this private event at a later date and time. A Memorial Service is still being planned at this time.

Tiffany, Latasha, Ashley, Those we love remain a part of us. Mother has left this world but never your hearts. You will always remember, you will always love. I understand what you’re going through because I’ve experienced the loss of someone very dear to my life too and now Pam. She will be and always has been my special daughter .In time the pain will ease and the memories will bring comfort. I’m walking with you through the pain one step at a time and in time you will laugh again.

Oh what an angel heaven has gained. An amazing nurse and genuine soul. She brought me back a hand piano from her trip to Jamaica and I would sit across from her at work and serenade her.
I will treasure it forever. Comfort and prayers for the family, she loved you all dearly. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful woman with us. Her work here is done.
heaven has gained an Angel…I worked with you for a year and could not find a better dedicated intelligent nurse that gave 150% to the veterans and 300% to her family…..As I write this dedication to you I cannot hold back my tears and confessed how much we will miss you……. may you rest in peace my friend

What a awesome person! Pam and I attended nursing school together. She was always a ray of sunshine and had a positive outlook as we went through those rough days of school. My condolences and prayers to Pam’s entire family.

I was privileged to have met and worked with Pam at the Kernersville VA. Often times we interacted as she would bring samples down or call the Laboratory. I enjoyed working with her and will never forget her concern and kindness. May her family find strength in the precious memories! I send my deepest condolences to you all!
I served alongside Pam on a nursing council and she was ALWAYS a bright light and always someone who’s positive energy radiated to those around her. She was an amazing nurse who’s impact will last for years to come. I’m so sorry for your loss. You all will be in my prayers.
My ray of sunshine! From the day I started at the VA Pam was always a beacon of light. Literally an angel on earth! The love, care and compassion she gave to not only the Veterans but her coworkers as well will live on in our hearts. Her smile lit up every room. I am deeply sadden by this loss, but I am so grateful for the time we had together.
I work at the Kernersville Va. as a sterile processor on 3 floor every time I was out of work to return to work I had to see Pamela to release me to go back to work she was a good nurse and friend to me always talking to me about my blood pressure and I would say okay I will do better. she will be miss a great lady. My prayers are extended to Pam’s loved ones. She was a very smart, compassionate and loving nurse. She always had an infectious smile and great stories. It was a treat to work with her. Even on her difficult days at work, she would still smile.
I will always remember Pam for her compassion, dedication, and hard work. But most of all I will remember her smile and everlasting friendship!

Pamela was a classmate in nursing school. She helped me breakthrough some mental boundaries regarding personal care of patients. Sh always had such grace and an amazing presence. I often think of her smile. Sending love to friends and family.
