I first met Jodie in June 1973 when I started work with Davidson County DSS, working in the old County Building. I enjoyed working with Jodie from then until her retirement. I also loved her mother Evelyn who worked for the Extension Service in the same building. Two great, hardworking ladies. I enjoyed seeing Shannon and Jae grow up, hearing all about their activities. I thought a lot of Butch and was saddened when he and Jodie divorced and when he passed away. I cried with Jodie when Butch and Shannon died. I enjoyed catching up with Jodie when she came to town after moving to the beach and when the retirees got together. Jae, your mom made many friends and left lasting impressions on all of us. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP my friend.

I worked with Jodie at Social Services for several years. She was a special lady and hard worker. It was sad to be there when she retired but she certainly deserved it and loved moving to the beach. She came to our retiree get together when she was in town. My deepest sympathy to the family.
Prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time, Jae.
