William Alexander Miller was born on the 3rd of October 1946 in Surry County, NC to Theron Odell Miller and Nues Bray Miller. He graduated from Surry Central High School before joining the Army, where he became a Military Police Officer and served in Vietnam.
Upon his return to the United States, he received his undergraduate degree at Winston-Salem State University, before earning his Masters in Business Administration at Wake Forest University. He spent most of his career at Lentz Warehousing and Distribution, located in Clemmons, NC, where he was the Executive Vice President / COO. Alex had many hobbies, including rebuilding old Ford cars, golfing, fishing with his grandchildren, and spending time with his close friends and family.
Alex is survived by his loving wife Connie Miller of 47 years, two daughters (Andrea and Stephanie), and his six grandchildren (Patrick, Zoe, Hannah, James, Scarlett, and Phoebe). Alex was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone in his life. His impact on their lives cannot be put into words, and he will be greatly missed.
