Timothy Sullivan

Timothy Sullivan of Lexington, NC sadly passed away on February 4, 2025 at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC.

Timothy was born February 21, 1945 to Joseph and Genevieve Sullivan in Manchester, CT. He grew up with his 4 siblings in Vernon, CT. Timothy served in the U.S. Navy as a payroll clerk. Tim worked for the Hartford Courant in Hartford, CT for many years until retirement. He also worked for the Willimantic Chronicle in Willimantic, CT after retirement.

Timothy’s brother Dennis states, “As a brother, we could always depend on him if any of us needed any help. He never said no, regardless of the task. He was a good brother.” Timothy was a die-hard New England Patriots fan. He loved playing cards with family and friends. Tim enjoyed watching football and Hallmark movies.
Timothy was preceded in death by his wife Linda and his parents. He is survived by his sons, Timothy (Karen) Sullivan JR. and Joseph Sullivan of Lexington, NC, and his daughter Sonja (Dan) Hills of Vernon, CT, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Maureen Negro of Andover, MA, Jack (Carol) Sullivan of Ellington, CT, Judy Sullivan of Rockville, CT, and Dennis (Tracey) Sullivan of Summerville, SC.
