Taylor Kintner
1997 - 2024
Taylor Danielle Kintner, known affectionately as Tay, passed away at the age of 27 on November 17, 2024, in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Born in Thomasville, NC, Tay grew up to be a bright, funny, and spirited individual, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Tay attended Wallburg Elementary and graduated from Ledford High School, where she was known for her quick wit and radiant personality. Her laughter was contagious, and her ability to connect with people was unparalleled. She had a profound love for her family, friends, and pets, and cherished every moment spent with them. Although she never owned the jet ski she desired, her love for the beach was a testament to her adventurous spirit.
She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Grant Kintner; father, Nicholas Kintner; her step-father to be, Lee Gaines; her step-mother Brittany Kintner; brothers Noah Fisher and Cody Kintner; paternal grandparents, Steve and Sheila Herman; maternal grandparents, Pamela Smith and Danny Grant; her best friend Mia and godson Nolan; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tay was preceded in death by her cousin, Keaton Grant, and her maternal great-grandmother, Betty Smith.
Memorial services for Tay will be announced at a later date. Her family and friends will miss her deeply, and her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
Taylor was a kind spirit, and one of my closest friends through middle school. Taylor truly embraced herself and helped me to be the person I am today. The laughter we shared and memories we built will live on in her memory forever.
Tay was such a smart, sweet, quick witted & thoughtful young lady. After her cousin Keaton passed, she would call me to see if I was ok & then call Sandra to make sure I was ok. She kept it real. She would call out of the blue just to say I love you, Uncle Carl. It’s almost like she knew I needed it.
The day before her passing we had a great visit. I’m going to miss that smile, our inside jokes & those calls. There’s no doubt that she’s in Heaven with Keaton filling him in.
Taylor was my very best friend. She had a heart of absolute gold and she is/will continue to be dearly missed. I’ll never forget her and all of the wonderful memories we made together throughout the last 9 years. She was always there for me, she never was afraid of calling you out when she knew it was what was best for you. She made you want to be better, because she knew you could be. Taylor was the funniest, brightest and strongest person I had the privilege of knowing. I will carry her with me every single day. I love you, Tay. Now and forever. We miss you.
