Tarrance James Poole (TJ), 37, of Lexington, peacefully passed away on February 19, 2025 at Thomasville Medical Center.
TJ was born on September 19, 1987 to Jimmy Lynn Poole and Cynthia (Cindy) Rabb Poole in Winston-Salem, NC.
In 2012, TJ met and married his soulmate, Jodie Blackwell Poole. He became a step dad to two wonderful children, Riley Scarlett and Jaylin Blackwell.
TJ enjoyed spending his time with his wife doing things such as fishing and watching movies together. He was an avid gamer and he loved to read novels.
TJ was quite intelligent and had an interesting sense of humor. He could easily make you laugh without even trying. He will be deeply missed.
TJ was predeceased by his father, Jimmy Lynn Poole. He is survived by his mother, Cindy Poole; his loving wife, Jodie Poole; a sister, Christy; and two step children, Riley Scarlett and Jaylin Blackwell.
A private memorial will be held for family. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. His wife, Jodie, will post that information on Facebook at a later date.
Thank you guys for u and being there for me when I needed you most . Jodie you did your best caring for him his face lite up when he looked at you coming home from work .he watched out the window for you .y’all were truly soulmated Iove u Jodie Krystal Cannon.

My heart goes out to the family, Me and my girl Cindy AKA lulu and Jimmy Poole have known each other for 45yrs , Them and their kids Christy & Tj have and will always be apart of my family, I’ve watch my best friends kids grow up from just being 2yrs on, WE have great memories together, Love them all with all my heart, I met Jodie when her and Tj got together and I can tell u this, She is a wonderful human being , she cares alot for those she loves and always trys to be there for others,we also have great memories together when her kids were little as well. I’m truly grateful to have friends and definitely always my family. I love u, TJ aka HAMMER, I love u always and will definitely miss your crazy butt. FLY HIGH BABY BOY,
