Steven H. Brown went to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 4th , 2025 at 3:45 AM after a several year long bout with illness. Steve is survived by his wife of 50 Years, Daphne J Brown; his daughter Angela Brown, his Son Steven Cory Brown, His sister Sherry Holt and husband Steve Holt. His grandchildren Stephanie L. Brown and her Fiancé Nick Jones, Emersyn, Brooklyn, Adalyn, and Ryder.
Steve was a dedicated small business owner as a founding member of Henry’s Electic Motor Service in Winston Salem, NC. Steve was very humble and giving in his 50+ years of service interacting with customers throughout the southeast. Steve was very interactive with his community and his business sponsored numerous sports and recreation leagues over the years. In addition to this Steve managed to operate a second small business, Blades by Brown in Lewisville, NC in the early 2000’s.
Steve worked with Henry Brown (His Father) from 1969 to 2008, Stanley Brown (Twin Brother) from 1969 to 1999, Cory Brown (Son) from 1997 to 2022.
Steve was dedicated to his Church and family with a lifelong love for the lord. Steve was a carpenter as was the lord. He enjoyed spending his weekends in his shop building intricate projects for his friends family. Steve loved animals of all kinds and enjoyed observing nature. He once raised an orphan squirrel named Spanky and was always willing to help an animal in need.
Anyone who interacted with Steve was welcomed with open arms, kindness, and humor. Steve had a huge heart and was always willing to help someone out. He valued supporting the Winston Salem Rescue Mission. In order of continuing his legacy, The family would prefer donations to the Winston Salem Rescue Mission in lieu of flowers.
