Sandra Shelton Garrison, born on June 30, 1947 in Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was known for her vibrant spirit and love for life.
Sandy was preceded in death by her loving mother Lona Shelton, who she cared for for many years, and sister Shelia Jean Shelton.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving son David Edward Garrison and niece April Prevette Jernigan.
Sandra found joy in creating beautiful silk flower arrangements, a hobby that showcased her artistic talents and brought happiness to those around her. She also had a deep appreciation for nature, often spending her time watching and admiring birds in her backyard.
Sandra will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and love she shared with family and friends. She leaves behind cherished memories that will be held close in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be at a later date in the Spring her favorite season.
