Rosemarie Cook Hatfield
1955 - 2021
Rosemarie Cook Hatfield passed away on December 11th, 2021 after a short illness. Rosie, as she was affectionately known, was surrounded by her family and friends from her job at the Winston-Salem Police Department.
Rosie was born on August 3rd, 1955 in Pineville, WV to Robert and Mary Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Terry Lynn and Phyllis Jean. She is survived by her husband of 49 years ,Carlos, son Trinity, daughter Carla, grandchildren Bailey and Brayden Harp and sister Claudine Smith.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Winston-Salem Police Department, especially Chief Thompson, Captain Newnum, Sergeant Bollinger, and all the LEO’s she loved so dearly.
Per Rosie’s wishes there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to your local Humane Society.
