Richard Allen Steele, Jr.

Richard Allen Steele, Jr of Clemmons NC, passed away on April 9, 2023, Easter morning, at Katherine B. Reynolds Hospice. He fought a long and courageous battle with COPD with his wife by his side. He never lost his sense of humor during this time or zest for life.
He was born on May 16, 1959, to Lynne A. Steele (Miller) and Richard Allen Steele in Plainfield NJ. He Graduated Sparta High School in 1977.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Steele; his beloved children, Stephanie Brown (Steele) and her husband, Royce, Kimberly Binns (Steele) and her husband, Sean and David Richard Steele; his very deeply loved grandchildren, Kylie, Jaxson, Scarlett, Annabelle, Elizabeth, Blake and Sophia; his loved stepchildren, Alfonso and wife, Karen, Tony and wife, Leana and Sarah; their children, Ainsley, Fonzo, Daniel, Alexa, Jake and Ana who he loved. He is also survived by his sister, Elizbeth (Liz) Horbal (Steele) and his brother, David Steele and their children, Meghan, Andrew, Kip and Thomas and their children who he loved.
Rick loved to play his music he wrote and entertain people. He played with his brother, David, doing an acoustic duo for years. Had his first band when he was 13 and another years later. He was a Production Manager and more for ACC-Coatings for over 13 years. He loved his job. The company moved to North Carolina, and he moved here with his wife Sally. Rick also liked to write stories and read. He loved to draw. Most of all, whenever he could, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and step- grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his colleagues.
There will be a Private Memorial on April 22, 2023 to Celebrate his Life.
