Peter (Pete) Charles Komas, Jr

Peter (Pete) Charles Komas, Jr, 71, of Lewisville North Carolina passed away peacefully at
home with his wife of 21 years at his side on November 16, 2022.
He was born on November 21,1950 in Abington, PA to the late Peter Charles Komas, Sr. and
the late Sarah (Sally) V. Komas. He attended Souderton High School in Souderton, PA. After
his retirement from his full time job he found great joy in working part time as a driver for The
Children’s Center of Northwest North Carolina.
Peter was sincere, quiet, kind and gentle. He loved nature, especially birds, fishing,
photography, hockey (Go Flyers), NASCAR, ribs, vanilla ice cream, cats and puns. He had a
passion for music and was a treasure trove of knowledge.
Peter is survived by his wife Patricia (Doster) Komas of Lewisville, his son Peter Keith Komas
(Rachel) of Perkasie, PA, stepdaughters Rebecca Hepler of Winston-Salem, NC and Anne Lake
(Stephen) of Morgantown, PA. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Madison and Grayson
Hepler and Harper and Adah Lake, all of whom will greatly miss their Poppy. Peter is also
survived by his niece Laura Bird Minzenberg (Eric) and children of CA and nephew Nathan Bird
(Keely) and children of FL.
He was predeceased by his brother John Biddle and his sister Virginia Komas Bird.
