Paul Stephen Vandenhoven
1970 - 2026
Paul was born in Australia on March 25th 1970 to the proud parents Cornelius Henricus Alphonsus Maria Vandenhoven (Hank) and Diane Patricia Cleary of Melbourne, Australia. Paul lived his life in Australia until meeting the love of his life Jennifer Mitchell Vandenhoven of North Carolina, United States of America. He then made a life changing move to the USA in November 2006 where he proudly married and took on the role of husband and father to Jennifer’s daughters Savannah (4) and Jordyn Smith (3). Together they had a son Jackson Hank Vandenhoven, born sleeping December 31st, 2016. Paul was not just a father, he was a Daddy to their girls and a perfect example of what love feels like.
Paul was preceded in death by his Father Hank 1995, his only Son, Jackson Hank Vandenhoven 2006. Mother In Law Connie Mitchell 2021
In America, Paul leaves behind his Soul Mate and Wife Jennifer (Winston Salem NC), their daughters, Savannah and Jordyn (of the home) Sister In Law Tazza Mitchell (Mike Little), Brother in Law Michael Mitchell (Amy), Nieces Jessica Griffin (David), Caroline Tomlinson (Tucker), and Emily Mitchell. Special nod to extended family Vickie Carroll.
In Australia, Paul leaves behind his precious Mother Diane Vandenhoven Carson and Paul’s loving Bonus-Father Mack Carson, of Yapoon, Queensland. Brother Darren Vandenhoven (Cathy), Nephew Zach Vandenhoven, Niece Christina Middlemiss (Andrew) and special nod to life time Best Friend Wayne Porter, loving known by all as Mouse.
Paul also leaves behind , across the countries, several friends and extended family members.
Paul was a market manager when working, his loves were his family, friends, all things sports but especially St. Kilda Cricket club, UNC and The Minnesota Twins, Baseball Card Collecting, Fishing, travel and camping with his family.
The family asks anyone wishing to send gifts that they might use those funds to pay it forward in life or make donations in his honor to The Saint Jude’s Children Research Cancer Hospital.
