Patricia Ann Perkins
1953 - 2025
Patricia Ann Perkins, born on July 16, 1953, in Anderson, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at the age of 72, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was born to the late Claudius and Ruth White and raised in a home where family, faith, and perseverance were cornerstones. Patricia was a loving sister to the late Nylon Arnold of Anderson, South Carolina; Eddie White of Winston-Salem; the late James “Bird” White of Winston-Salem; and Ruby Gordon (Harold Lee Gordon) of Winston-Salem.
Patricia dedicated over 20 years of her life as a nursing assistant, caring for others with gentleness and dignity. She later worked in supply distribution within the healthcare field, where her reliability and attention to detail ensured that others could continue their care with excellence. Whether by the bedside or behind the scenes, Patricia’s heart for service never wavered.
Above all, Patricia was a devoted mother to her three children: the late Vincent Perkins, Jr. (Nicole Perkins), Angela Jackson, and Anthony Perkins (Marlene Perkins). She poured love, wisdom, and faith into her family, creating a foundation that will continue for generations. She was the proud grandmother of Brittany Smith (Reginald Smith), Alexis Perkins, Naja Wilson, Anthony Perkins II, Adia Perkins, Amare Perkins, Kiyah Perkins, and Kamden Perkins. She found special joy in her role as a great-grandmother to Ja’Mari Smith, Axel Peña, Ja’Zelle Smith, and Ja’Liyah Smith, each of whom brought her heart immense happiness and pride.
Patricia lived her life rooted in her faith, guided always by her favorite scripture:“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
Her quiet strength, enduring faith, and deep love for her family will be missed beyond words but never forgotten. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain alive in the lives of those she cherished.
