1979 - 2025
Mrs. Kristie Dawn Burton Kemble, 45, of Winston-Salem/Yadkinville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 29, 1979, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Gary Burton Sr. and Debbie Burton of Yadkinville. Kristie loved many things in life especially cooking and hosting family get-togethers for all occasions. Although she was well known for her delicious cheesecakes, she also loved baking an assortment of things. Besides cooking and baking she loved to watch Nascar races (in particular Denny Hamlin) and Tinkerbell.
She is survived by her husband, David Brewster Kemble; loving mommy, Debbie Burton; sons, Christian X. Rose and daughter-in-law, Katchie Guzman (he loved calling his mom “Stump-a-licious”), and Shawn D. Kemble, and girlfriend, Laney; daughter, Kaytlyn C. Tyler and wife Vanessa (Katie loved calling her mom “Patchy”); granddaughter, Nova; grandson, Vi; father in law, Bruce Kemble; mother in law, Pat Kemble; brother, Gary Burton Jr. and wife, LeAnn; nephew, Noah; nieces, Emma, Emma, Abby, and Leah; brother in law, Eric Kozlowski, and wife, Cheryl; and best friends, Glenn Trexler, Lucy, Angela Hall, Tilly, and many more extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at 3545 Whippoorwill Rd Yadkinville, NC, 27055 with Rev. Jobe Rose officiating.
You left me too soon 💔 I miss you aggravating me lol. I know you’re not in pain anymore and probably in heaven fighting with your daddy lol. Seriously I miss you so much. It’s not the same without you 💔

There is no preparation for a heartbreak like this. I miss you more than any words could describe. I know you aren’t in pain anymore and looking down on us at peace. I can’t wait to take Nova to get chocolate soft serve with waffle cone pieces. Just like we used to do. I love you so much Ma.

We always liked running into you at Walmart! You were an inspiration to a lot of people. It was amazing to see how you overcome so much. I know you are missed!
