Juanita Rivera, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June, 28th, at the age of 93.
Born on October 20th 1932 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Juanita lived a life defined by kindness, resilience, and unsurpassed deep love for her family. She was the family matriarch, the heart of her home, and known for her warm smile, generous spirit. Her cooking was unmatched and brought generations together around the table.
Juanita dedicated her life to nurturing those around her. Whether offering a listening ear, words of wisdom, or a helping hand, she touched countless lives with her compassion. She had an enduring faith, a gentle strength, and a quiet grace that will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her sister Mary Reyes, four children; Felix, Victor, Maria and Wanda, her eleven grandchildren, and her fifteen great-grandchildren. Each carry with them a piece of her legacy—her values, her humor, and her unshakeable love.
A celebration of her life will be held on July 5th at 1:00PM at the Kingdom Hall in Mocksville. All who knew and loved Juanita are welcome to attend.
Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love will live on in all of us. Rest peacefully, Juanita—you will never be forgotten.
