With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Johnny Lee Crocker on August 30, 2024. Born on August 17, 1961. Johnny was a cherished father, husband, and friend who touched countless lives with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support. He was a man of few but meaningful words, and his unmistakable laugh could light up any room.
Johnny leaves behind his beloved children, Jennifer Crocker (Scott), Chelsea Walker (Jeff), Brandon Crocker (Idah), Austin Crocker (Nichelle), chosen children Jessica Holcombe (Tim) and Chloe Williamson; his adored grandchildren, Kaitlyn Pearson (Colton), Lane Davis, Bryan Lewis, Gunnar Lewis, London Crocker, Jude Crocker, Kian Crocker, Luna Crocker; and his precious great-granddaughter, Starlyn Pearson; and former spouse and dear friend, Betsy Crocker. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of inspiration to all who knew him. His legacy of love and kindness will endure for generations.
Throughout his life, Johnny was known for his warm heart, steadfastness, and deep love for God and his family. His passion for UFOs, guitars, and his collection of all things big and small brought him joy and sparked curiosity in those around him. Also, his love for woodworking and carpentry. He loved spending time in his workshop, building and creating. Johnny’s dedication to helping those in need and spreading happiness was evident to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A memorial service to celebrate Johnny’s life and legacy will be held on September 14th at 11 AM at Peace Haven Baptist Church.
Johnny will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Cindy, who passed away last year. We invite all who knew him to join us in remembering and honoring his remarkable life.
I am really going to miss you dad. I know the pain has left you now. I hope you and Cindy are up there laughing away and having a blast. I love you daddy-o!! Always have and always will! Rest easy sir, you’ve truly earned it.
Oh Johnny!!! Where to even start. I’ve known you for the past 6 years and you were a staple in some of the many things I love about Austin. I wish you were still here but I know the pain you had is gone and you are now at rest living it up with Cindy. Please keep a watch on us as we keep you close and you still show us your here. We love you Johnny.
I feel very honored to have had you as an uncle! May your memory live on in those who love you & you loved also. I will forever cherish the times we got to spend together. With all my love to you & family, your niece.
Johnny you were such a kind man with a heart of gold. I know you and my sister Cindy are happily embracing each other in Gods Kingdom. Until we all meet again, we love you!
I thank Johnny for loving and caring for daughter and I know he is happier with her now. He was always very polite and soft spoken and I admired him very much. God bless in his body and home in heaven with Cindy. With all our love until we meet again.
