Joan Elizabeth Trites
1934 - 2025
On 2/5/25, at the age of 90, Joan Trites passed away. She was preceded in death by her parents Annie Mae and Thomas Holsenbeck, her husband of 53 years Kenneth and her son, Keith. She is survived by her children Rick, Cindy and Tim. Her grandchildren Tommy, Joey, Sarah (Homero), Jacob (Kaitlyn) and Caleb (Sonia Pizano) and her great-grandchildren Samantha, Lucas, Patricia, Addison and Estella G.
At her request there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers if you so desire “In Memory” donations can be made to Senior Services, 2895 Shorefair Dr, Winston Salem, NC 27105.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. I remember Joan, my godmother from early childhood. She took me to Bible school classes, swimming at the pools and she sure like her soap opera shows while we played. Missed chatting with her on fb. I will always remember the love she showed. She is now on the other side called Heaven with her heavenly family.
