Jean Cohen 1941-2024
Jean Cohen, 82, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024, in North Carolina.
Jean was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania to her late parents Doris and Carl. She was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy and Dennis. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Arthur, daughter, Tristan, granddaughter, Olivia, siblings Patricia, Gloria, Ronald and daughter-in-law, Kathy, son-in-law, Steve.
During Jean’s lifetime her house was always full of joy, laughter and the chaos of animals and people, just the way she liked it. While we know she loved us, she often shared that she got along best with her animals.
In May of 2000 Jean realized a lifelong dream of graduating from college with a degree in Psychology. Her smile was beaming with pride and will forever live in our memories.
In the last 10 years Jean became a very passionate NFL football fan and loved cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She also always cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs because she thought Patrick Mahomes was amazing. She once said, “I can’t believe I missed out on so many years of watching football.”
With her passing we are filled with so many memories it’s hard to say goodbye. Instead of goodbye, we would rather say, “We will see you again soon, football Sunday won’t be the same without you and please keep tabs on all of us.”
