James Paul Seligman (78) died peacefully at his home under Hospice care Thursday morning March 21, 2024. James was born in Albuquerque NM on November 5, 1945 to the late Simon and Constance Chavez Seligman. He retired from Ignition Systems & Controls in Midland TX in 2012. He worked as a mechanic the majority of his life. He rode motorcycles from his teenage years and loved every minute he spent on his bike. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and Motorcross racing and enjoyed watching professional boxing. James loved traveling and had visited nearly every state. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his, son Lawrence Seligman; brothers, Simon Seligman Jr and Arthur Seligman. James is survived by his loving partner of 20 years, Peggy Douglas; his daughter, Jennifer Zamora (Jake); grandsons, Josiah Zamora and Ryan Zamora (Chelsea); two precious great granddaughters, Aspen and Ayla; his brother, Milton Seligman (Shirley) and sister, Constance Sanchez. As was his wish, there will be no memorial service. Peggy, I am truly sorry for your loss. Thank you for your loving care and companionship of my uncle James. He was an awesome man and a super uncle. I have so many great memories from a very young age of him in my life. May the Lord keep and protect your your soul Uncle 🙏❤️
