Harold Greg Phibbs
1968 - 2023
Harold Greg Phibbs, 55, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday March 9, 2023. Harold was born February 29, 1968, in Winston-Salem to Woodrow F. and Donnie J. Phibbs.
Harold had overcome many life struggles, but he always had a smile and never let life get him down.
He graduated from Forsyth Tech with a Paralegal Associates degree, even after losing his eyesight.
He passed away doing what he loved, training for his 3rd guide dog.
Harold was proceeded in death by both parents. Survivors include his fiancé, Sandra Shaw of the home; sister, Susan (Jack) Howell of Walkertown; brothers, Darrell Phibbs of Winston-Salem and Andy Phibbs of Pfafftown and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
A special thanks to Jim Kessler (trainer) for his assistance when Harold needed him.
There will be a private celebration of life for family and friends, no formal services per his wishes.

Dear Uncle Harold, I will always remember you as a smart, funny and caring person . You were always so humble despite all the challenges you faced. You will be greatly missed, but I can rejoice in the assurance that you are with those who have gone on before you and that your suffering, pain and sickness is over…sleep well, until we meet again!
