Graham Millard Cooper
1939 - 2024
Graham Millard Cooper age 84 peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus on January 15,2024 at Woltz Hospice House in Dobson, NC after a long courageous battle of cancer.
Graham was born on April 9 1939 in Whitewood, VA. He was the son of the late Millard & Garnett Cooper. He was preceded in death by his loving late wife June Charlene Cooper; brothers: Mack, Gary, Thurman, Josh, Jimmie, Billy; sisters: Lois, Thelma, Betty.
Graham is survived by: sons ; Don Cooper ( Xenia) , Dale Cooper; daughters ; Debbie Guynn, Wendi Goad ( Allen) and step daughter Phoebe Millirons ( Harry); grandchildren: Cody, Courtnee, Wesley Davis, Parker Cooper, Ayden Andrews ( Garrett), Mia, Luke, John, Lena, Hunter and Zach; great grandchildren: Phoenix and Toby. A host of other family and friends also survived.
Graham courageously served his country in the US Army.
Graham devoted 65 years of serving God, evangelizing, and serving his community with his whole heart.
Graham was a devoted husband for 39 years to June Charlene Cooper. Graham also throughly enjoyed playing the guitar , harmonica and singing the songs that he wrote. Grahams life was a reflection of his faith in God and as a result , winning many souls to Christ. He left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His infectious laugh and goofy humor will throughly be missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held April 13,2024 at Grapefield Church of God in Bastian, VA at 1pm. Pastor Rick Thornton officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Woltz Hospice House in Dobson, NC.

Hi, I’m one of the desist’ grandchildren, hunter. When my grandfather passed.. all I could think about was how much I’m going to miss him, and all his profound stories of Chicago, and just overall places he’s worked. He was always so histarically-outgoing, and is immitation of Elvis was SPOT ON! May yout legend forever live on.

I will always remember his courageous smile and his desire to serve the Lord. The way he prayed…you just knew he touched the hem of his garment. He will be greatly missed by many. Please continue to keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
I gotten to know Mr. Graham Cooper for a short time as I volunteer to care for him while his daughter Wendi Goad had to go back to work.. I really enjoyed watching TV 📺 with him, lots of music 🎶 from the Gaither and he was singing along with it.. musical shows.. The Beverly Hillbillies and
Gomer Pyle, oh boy did we have good laughs 😃 I really learned to love these family like my own.. I thank the Lord for putting this family in my life.. Mr. Cooper God called you to your eternal home, I will see you again.. you will be forever missed ❤️
