February 7, 1957 – October 13, 2023
Franklin Dean Owen 66, of 242 Tom Briggs Road Lexington died after a short-term illness at Lexington Health Care. A Memorial service will be held Saturday October 21, 2023 at Park Place in Denton from 3 – 5 p.m.
Dean was born in Davidson County and worked and retired from Davidson County School Systems Maintenance Department. He loved old cars, flea markets and collective items. He appreciated, loved, and lived a simple life. He is survived by his brother, Kenny Owen (Donna) of Denton; nephews, Johnny Mickel, Jared Owen, and Dalton Graves; nieces, Amber Geelen, and Carly Loflin; brother-in-law, Connie Mickel of Welcome. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Dora Anna Owen; sister, Sharon Mickel, and a nephew, Brandon Owen. Dean will be loved and missed greatly by his family.
Known Dean since a little kid.lot of memories.hope he is up there with Brandon and Terry enjoying all the wonders of heaven!!! 💞
Hi kenny, I’m sorry, I’m about Dean. I just found it out. I want to apologize since I didn’t know. I love I’ll love you. Don’t never say none of you. I’m sorry about that too. But life is short and tight. Aint nobody got time for nobody? No more, I don’t look like it. And we lost Ronnie, I hate that I’m going to go about one of the blessed uncles.
