Evelyn Louise Stant Lord, 73, passed from this life into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Lord, of Athens, GA; father, Pearl L. Stant, of Circleville, Ohio; mother, Evelyn Godwin Stant, of Lucama, NC and a sister, Elaine Stant, of Wilson, NC.  She is survived by her brother, Ron Stant, of Winston-Salem, NC.
