Evelyn Lorraine Bunning

Evelyn Lorraine (Velasquez) Bunning was born to Lee White and Ella Mae
Velasquez on February 2, 1965, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She passed away on
June 3, 2024, at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC.
She was devoted to her husband of 20 years. She enjoyed spending time
with her children and grandchildren. Evelyn spent much of her time with
her church family and many friends. She was proud of her lifetime work
with children and veterans. Evelyn had an infectious smile and a joy for life
that will be greatly missed! She was a faithful and devoted Christian who
loved her Lord!
Evelyn is survived by her husband Duane Bunning; and their children: Otis
(Jenny), Jennifer, Luke (Nate), Josh (Raily), Tara (Brett), and Tyler (Ariel);
and their grandchildren; Landon, Skye, Hanna, Mollie, Ella, Alyssa,
Annabella, Anthony, James, Angelina, Avery, Elaina, Clifford, and Harley.
She is survived by her siblings Doug, Allison, Gene, Audra, Lee, and Krista.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents Lee, Gene, and Ella as well as
her brother Elmer, and grandparents.
There will be a celebration of life service on Friday, June 7, at 6:00 pm at
Living Hope Church of Kernersville, NC, located at 1339 N. Main Street,
Kernersville, NC 27284. For more information on the location of funeral
